FORBES Peacefully at Bagatelle Nursing Home on Wednesday 6th December 2017 after a long illness borne with great determination and dignity, Mary (May, nee McLeod, wee May), formerly IBM, Scott's Canteen and Horseshoe Bar, loving wife of the late William and dearly loved mother of Billy and Margaret, mother in law of Caroline and proud gran of Amie and Laura and her extended family in Canada, sister of Jim and the late John, Robert, Bill and Peggy. Funeral Service at Greenock Crematorium on Friday 15th December at 9am to which all friends are invited. Flowers respectfully declined but there will be a retiral collection in aid of Parkinson's UK and the Larkfield Unit.

Dear Gran, how you made us laugh and feel special. We always had a party at your house no matter what day or time it was when we landed on your doorstep. Whenever we went on holiday, we would always wonder how you would rearrange the furniture in our house while we were away. You had such a big heart and were caring and kind to those you loved and even those you didn't know at first. You made friends wherever you went. You made a difference in so many lives. I am so grateful you made a difference in mine. May you rest well from a hard fight. Love you forever.
