OWENS The family of the late Jimmy Owens BEM would like to sincerely thank all relatives, friends and former colleagues for their attendance at the Reception of Remains and Requiem Mass and for all the Mass Cards, messages of sympathy and floral arrangements received by the family on the loss of our beloved Dad, Granda, Father in law and Uncle. Special thanks to Mgr Gerard Gallagher and Deacon Kelly of St Ninian’s Parish for celebrating the mass and to the organist and choir of St Andrew’s and the members of Columban Badminton Club and Inverclyde Junior Badminton Club who contributed greatly to the uplifting and moving service which was a tribute to Dad. Many thanks to the clergy and members of St Andrew’s Parich for their spiritual comfort and support. Grateful thanks to all the staff of Ward 2, Larkfield Unit for their care and compassion during Dad’s stay, and to the doctors of Roxburgh Practice, Station View Medical Centre for their care of Dad over the past years. Thank you to the Co-operative Funeralcare, Greenock and particularly Stewart for the professional and caring funeral arrangements, to Flower Vogue for the floral arrangements and to the staff of The Beacon for the excellent funeral reception. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
