SHEARER Isabel, wife of the late Donald Morrison Shearer (Don) would like to offer heartfelt thanks to family, relatives, friends, neighbours and former work colleagues of both herself and Don at Inverclyde Council for all the messages of condolences, mass cards, kindness and support shown to her during the recent sad loss of her husband. Special thanks to Monsignor Gallagher for spiritual comfort and prayers given to Don at the Hospital and also special thanks to Father Bollan of St Joseph's Parish R.C. Church for the lovely funeral service and prayers at the Crematorium. Special thanks to Oncology staff, IRH and all the staff at Ward 1, Larkfield Unit who cared for Don with much dignity and respect. Special thanks to all the staff at Ardgowan Hospice who gave Don excellent care and attention and for the support shown to myself throughout Don's illness. Special thanks to Jonathan and staff at Co-op Funeralcare for their sympathetic and very professional funeral arrangements and staff at the Tontine Hotel for the excellent catering. A special thanks to both my parents Jim and Patricia Masterson whose love and support got me through this sad time and my brothers Chris and Kerr whose support was a great source of strength and comfort to me.
