Man on 7 drug deal charges

Greenock Sheriff Court
A GREENOCK man has appeared in court accused of a number of drug dealing offences.
James Canney, 43, has been charged with seven counts of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
Substances allegedly found at his house in Banff Road, Greenock, on Friday were cocaine, cannabis resin, amphetamines, ecstasy, lysergide, temazepam and diazepam.
Mr Canney made no plea or declaration during a brief appearance in private at the sheriff court yesterday.
Represented by Aidan Gallagher, Mr Canney was remanded in custody by Sheriff John Herald.
