Appeal for pub attack info

A PORT Glasgow man was seriously assaulted outside the Above and Beyond pub in Greenock last night.

The 35-year-old was involved in a fight in West Stewart Street as the pub closed around midnight and suffered a split lip.

He attended Inverclyde Royal Hospital for treatment and needed stitches to repair the wound.

Anyone with information on the incident should call Greenock police on 492500, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
