At least when it is dark you can't see how far down it is

AN Inverclyde doctor has spoken of her elation at climbing the world"s highest peak.
As previously reported in the Tele, Dr Janet Pickett, 47, reached the top of Mount Everest on 23 May.
Her bid for the summit started at 9pm the previous night. She climbed through the dark until the sun rose at about 5am and finally reached the 29,029-ft summit at 7.15am.
Speaking to the Tele for the first time her return, said: 'The good thing about climbing in the dark is that you can"t see how far down it is.'
