THERE was plenty of fun at Cappielow last night — but not for the young men from the YMCA.
Morton cruised into the final of the Renfrewshire Cup, knocking nine past amateur side Carlton YMCA.
The Paisley-based outfit may have sported a strip the colours of Barcelona, but it was the men in blue and white who turned on the style.
Iain Russell bagged four goals while five other players also added their names to the scoresheet.

SWOOPING seagulls are attacking walkers at Greenock Esplanade and Gourock. The dangerous gulls have attacked residents prompting warnings from community councillors.

A LEADING campaigner calling for improvements to an estate in Fancy Farm says the area is turning into a ghetto. Viny McNelis, chairman of Mallard Crescent Action Group and Neighbourhood Watch, says walkways are a disgrace and some street lights have been out for a year.
