Morton 9-0 Carlton YMCA

THERE was plenty of fun at Cappielow last night — but not for the young men from the YMCA.

Morton cruised into the final of the Renfrewshire Cup, knocking nine past amateur side Carlton YMCA.

The Paisley-based outfit may have sported a strip the colours of Barcelona, but it was the men in blue and white who turned on the style.

Iain Russell bagged four goals while five other players also added their names to the scoresheet.
