BRAS and pants were damaged when vandals raided a Port Glasgow underwear storehouse.

The unit was rented by company DB Apparel to store stock.

A spokesperson for DB Apparel said: “There was a break-in and vandalism with some damage to stock, such as bras and pants.

“There was several hundred pounds worth of damage. It has happened over the weekend.

“Fire extinguishers were set off and they trashed as much as they could, pulling down some of the internal roof.”

Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for anyone with information to call Greenock police on 492500 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
