PLAYER-coach Tony Judd believes Greenock still have a chance of successfully defending their SNCL crown despite the call-offs which have ravaged the side in recent weeks.
The Glenpark men were short of four first-team regulars last Saturday, yet still managed to overpower Heriot’s in a result which closed the gap on leaders Grange to just three points.
News of that win came as a pleasant surprise to Judd when he arrived back from a two-week stint as Scotland assistant coach for the Intercontinental Cup fixtures in Bermuda and Canada.
