PROFESSIONAL golfer Chris Doak let out a huge sigh of relief after he secured his European Tour card in Spain. The 30-year-old Greenock pro rounded off an excellent week in the qualifying school final at PGA Catalunya with rounds of 71 and 70.

GREENOCK golf professional Chris Doak hit a spectacular round of 62 at the PGA Catalunya near Giron in Spain to keep his bid for a European Tour Card alive and well. His dramatic fourth round score lifted him from 107th place to 23rd. It has been an amazing year for Doak who finished top of the Tartan Tour.
