TOP BOWLS: Sandy Wotherspoon is into the knockout stages of the World Champion of Champions bowling finals at Aberdeen.
PORT Glasgow’s Sandy Wotherspoon is through to the quarter-finals of the World Champion of Champions bowling finals being held in Aberdeen.
Sandy, who qualified for the event after winning last year’s Scottish singles — which he followed up with British success this summer — has topped Section One, followed by Australia, Wales and South Africa. Section Two qualifiers are Ireland, Malaysia, England and the Philippines.
