Having gone down at Linlithgow in their first league of the season last Saturday, Wanderers brought a spring back to their step and that of the sizeable crowd, with this accomplished win over Accies at Fort Matilda on Saturday.

After the disruption of last season, due to the construction of their new clubhouse, it was heartening to see this young side complement what turned out to be a lovely afternoon at Fort Matilda.

Doak's superb round

GREENOCK golf professional Chris Doak hit a spectacular round of 62 at the PGA Catalunya near Giron in Spain to keep his bid for a European Tour Card alive and well. His dramatic fourth round score lifted him from 107th place to 23rd. It has been an amazing year for Doak who finished top of the Tartan Tour.
