Kilwinning Rangers 2 Port Glasgow 2

PORT GLASGOW fought back from two goals down to finally get their first point on the board in the Super League First Division.

The Port suffered a pre-match blow when striker Andy Monaghan called off sick, and it looked as though their troubled spell would continue when Kilwinning took the lead after just five minutes.

Mason crossed into the box, and right-back Gordon fired an unstoppable shot into the top left-hand corner.

The ‘Buffs’ were trying to impress new manager Gary Faulds, back for a second spell in charge, but Port Glasgow began to see more of the ball, and when Joe Beckley fired across the six-yard line, Tam Jamieson was only inches away from equalising in the 20th minute.
