GREENOCK ACADEMY: Row over parent’s views in paper.

IT’S absolutely outrageous that Ian Fraser, a paid employee of Inverclyde Council, calls for the resignation of Graeme Brooks, chairman of Greenock Academy’s Parent Council.

Graeme Brooks was elected chairman to represent parents’ views and that’s exactly what he has done.

We had the education convener accuse Mr Brooks of playing politics, followed last week by the director of education calling for his resignation for an article appearing in the local press — talk about conspiracy.

Just who do these people think they are? I thought we lived in a country where freedom of speech and of the press is still our right?

So Stephanie was the first person voted out of the Big Brother house. This actually both surprises and impresses me.
