By Elaine Bowers

Printer Print Article

TWENTY-FIVE teenagers have beaten off stiff competition to win places on The Recruit — the innovative programme that aims to find Inverclyde’s business leader of the future.

Over the summer, the candidates will take part in up to eight business challenges hosted by Inverclyde companies and attend seminars led by eight top speakers.

They will also have to file a minimum of 16 reports before the winner is announced at a gala dinner on Friday 15 August.

The much-coveted prize for the top recruit who shows the most business potential involves an £18,000 job contact with a prestigious firm yet to be revealed.

All the candidates are featured in today's Tele, in shops now.
