The arrested man is due in the dock today.
A MAN is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court today after being arrested following a major disturbance in Gourock.
The 34-year-old was held in Shore Street yesterday afternoon after a large police presence was called to the town centre.
He is expected to appear in court this afternoon in connection with the incident. The Tele can reveal he is facing a series of charges.
They include alleged possession of an offensive weapon, breach of the peace and resisting arrest.
