HIGH-FLYING Scottish DJ Calvin Logue who has shared the bill with the likes of Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike will have local EDM fans in a spin when he plays an exclusive set in Greenock tonight.

Glasgow talent Calvin Logue has been confirmed to play Word Up to mark the second anniversary of club night Bounce.

At just 20, the DJ already has a sterling CV boasting gigs alongside Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike and Blasterjaxx as well as appearances at Coloursfest and venues including Ibiza super club Amnesia.

Organiser and Greenock DJ John ‘Fitzy’ Fitzpatrick is thrilled to be bringing the top talent to Inverclyde.

The Bounce founder said: “He’s a young DJ from Glasgow, he’s been on the DJ scene for years as he started playing clubs at a really young age of 17, he is now one of the biggest DJs in Scotland. Calvin’s fanbase just keeps growing and growing as he always puts on a show and plays to what the crowd are wanting at every gig.

“The boy is definitely going places, last year he shared the mainstage with the likes of Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike and Blasterjaxx and played on the main stages at of some of the biggest festivals in Scotland such as EH1 Festival.

"I’m looking forward to getting him down to Word Up for Bounce’s second birthday bash so that Greenock can see the his talents before he moves onto bigger stages.

“I can’t wait for the event, it’s shaping up to be a cracker.”
