The A8 through Greenock is shut.
THE main road through Greenock has partially reopened after it was earlier closed yet again due to flooding.
The A8 was shut in both directions at East Hamilton Street but one lane in each direction is now back in action.
Traffic Scotland are still advising drivers to approach the area with caution.
Today's disruption was the third time in quick succession that the main artery in and out of the town has been closed by flooding.
