A MAN is expected to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court today after being arrested in connection with an alleged attempted robbery at a newsagent's.
Police were called to the Cowden's shop in Shore Street late on Friday afternoon and they subsequently detained a 24-year-old male.
He is due to appear before a sheriff later today.
