TWO cars were deliberately set on fire in Greenock in the early hours of this morning.
Detectives are appealing for help from the public to catch those responsible.
The Ford Mondeo and Renault Megane were both parked in Dellingburn Street, near Hope Street, overnight.
Detective Inspector David Wagstaff said: “The cars were parked on the street near to garages. We are looking for anybody who might have saw anything suspicious.”
Fire crews were alerted to the fire around 2am and spent half an hour tackling both blazes.
Anyone with information on the incident should contact the police on 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
