TOP tourism bosses were shown what Inverclyde has to offer at a trade show.
Local tourism group Discover Inverclyde represented the area at the VisitScotland expo in Edinburgh recently.
Malcolm Roughead, the chief executive of VisitScotland, visited their stand and heard about the area and of the forthcoming P1 Scottish Grand Prix of the Sea which is being held on June 18 and 19 off Greenock’s Esplanade.
Chris Jewell and Fraser Lang from Discover Inverclyde outlined all that the district has to offer.
Chris said: “We are hopeful and determined that this will lead to increased numbers of visitors coming to Inverclyde from across the world, with the economic benefits that will bring to the local area and our economy here.”
