TRACK stars from Craigmarloch School in Port Glasgow blazed a trail of gold when they competed at a major athletics event.
The ‘fantastic five’ pupils took home six gold medals and a silver medal between them at the S.D.S Junior Athletics Championships at Grangemouth.
The children who triumphed were Lewis Snodgrass, who won a gold medal in the 60m and a silver medal in the 400m.
Liam Duffy also put in a stellar performance to win gold medals in both the 60m and 400m events while Daniel Bell won gold in the 60m.
Meanwhile, Chloe Swinney won gold in the 60m and Zoe MacDiarmid won gold in the 100m.
The children competed against schools and athletics clubs from across Scotland.
