SUPER slimmers are getting on their marks to take part in Race For Life in Battery Park tomorrow.
Members from the Inverclyde Slimming World groups are taking part in the event in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Lisa McNelis, who runs a group at Inverkip Church Hall on Thursdays, says becoming more active is key to staying healthy.
She said: “Cancer Research UK is a charity very dear to Slimming World members’ hearts.
“Healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle goes hand in hand. All the Inverclyde Slimming World groups are taking part in the event but it is open to anyone who would like to join in. Our members are bringing along their friends and family. It should be lots of fun and will raise money for a fantastic cause.”
People can take part in a 3k or 5k, and the fun starts at 11.45am.
Club member Nikki Scott has also started a justgiving page for anyone who wants to make a donation.
