THE McLean Museum in Greenock is to stay closed until at least next Monday as urgent roof repairs continue.

It had been due to reopen today, but the work is taking longer than planned.
The Watt Library, part of the same complex, remains shut for at least two more weeks.

A council spokesman said: “The latest update is that while the Watt Library continues to be closed for the next few weeks, the museum will be also be closed until at least July 25.”
