THE mum of a heartbroken little girl is appealing for the safe return of her favourite teddy.
Samantha Cameron, 24, says the four-year-old is devastated after losing the white bear. Youngster Amylia lost the toy after playing in the ‘annexe playpark’ in Fox Street last Wednesday.
Samantha, who lives in Brisbane Street, said: “She woke up on Thursday morning without it and we can’t find it anywhere in the house and can’t remember if she came home with it. She’s devastated without it.
“She’s had it for three years and had just recently taken a big attraction to it. She even took it to Florida with her.
“I took her out for the day to stop her thinking about it and she went up to her aunty’s that night. She told me: ‘Please find my teddy and I’ll be over the moon’.”
Samantha said Amylia won the bear at the amusements and describes it as a bit worse for wear.
She said: “It’s a bit dirty with a red heart and has been sewn between the paws.”
