AN INTREPID swimmer has completed her biggest challenge to date.
Kirsty Ormond, of Inverclyde Masters, swam the length of Lake Windermere earlier this month.
After intense training, Kirsty joined around 38 swimmers, including her training partner Dave Stark for the 10.5 mile challenge.
Kirsty is now heading to Loch Lomond next Saturday to complete the 5k course of the Great Scottish Swim.
The following week she will head back to the Lake District to take part in the Chillswim Coniston End to End event.
