TWO super swimmers from Inverclyde made waves when they competed at a major open water swim event.
Gerry Malone and Gian Mazzoni, of Inverclyde Masters, joined other open water swimmers from across the country for the Scottish Open Water Championships at Loch Venachar near Callander recently.
The determined duo both put in outstanding performances in the 2.25k event with Gian achieving a silver medal while Gerry took bronze.
Gerry also scooped a silver medal in the 5k swim.
