A GREENOCK store stepped in to help a summer charity event.

Morrison’s manager Sean McGowan handed over £100 worth of vouchers to the

Gourock Rotary Club for their popular Hark in the Park event.

All the money raised at the event last week will help three local good causes Children in Poverty Inverclyde, Inverclyde Family Contact Centre and the Samaritans Inverclyde.

Children in Poverty charity founder Pat Burke said: “We would like to thank Morrisons once again for their support.

“The Rotary Club of Gourock do such wonderful work in our community with much of it unheralded.

“This is further demonstration of their dedicated connection with Inverclyde’s charity sector.”
