WORKERS at the Royal Bank of Scotland Mortgage Centre in Greenock held a ‘dress down’ day to raise funds for a charity event being held on Saturday in aid of the Crohn’s Colitis UK Clyde Group, which includes members from Inverclyde.
Staff raised £273, which will go towards the funds.
Further backing is coming from businesses in Greenock, Inverkip, Wemyss Bay, Largs and Skelmorlie.
All of the events will take place in Skelmorlie, starting at 12.30pm with a five-a-side football match at the playing fields for players aged 14 and over.
The rest of the day’s activities will be in the Eglinton Bar from 3pm, and will include craft stalls, a raffle and various fun activities.
There will be live entertainment from 8pm by the Skelmorlie Skanks.
