POLICE investigating the death of Greenock man Lee Monaghan have made an arrest.
Detectives say a 20-year-old man has been held in connection with the death of the 23-year-old.
Mr Monaghan, pictured, died following a disturbance in Belville Street around 11pm on Wednesday.
The arrested man is expected to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Monday.
A statement from Police Scotland said: "The man is presently detained in police custody and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
