A GREENOCK solicitors firm has handed almost £10,000 to Ardgowan Hospice.
McClure’s in Nicolson Street raised the funds through their Free Will scheme, which runs all year round.
This brings the total raised from issuing free wills, in exchange for a donation, to more than £150,000 for the local charity. Managing director Andrew Roberston said: “Everyone benefits. You get the will or will review you need while the hospice gets much needed funds. And if you like the McClure service, you might use us to work in the future.”
Elaine McNeill, the hospice’s community fundraiser manager, said: “The Free Will Scheme is a great service offered by McClure Solicitors and to the local community. We very much appreciate the continued support from McClure Solicitors and the Inverclyde people who continue to use this service.
“January is a great time to get your affairs in order and by taking part in the Free Will Scheme you are supporting your local hospice to provide free care to their community when they need it most.”
