A SERIOUSLY ill pensioner is on a mission of mercy to find a temporary home for his beloved pet.
Paddy Trueman, 69, requires urgent hospital treatment but has no-one to look after his dog Milo.
He is appealing to an animal-loving Tele reader to help him in his hour of need.
Paddy who is living at Cloch Caravan Park is due to go into hospital tomorrow after delaying his admission to see if can find someone to look after Milo.
He said: “I couldn’t put a healthy three and a half year old dog to sleep.
“He’s a lovely friendly wee dog. I just need someone to look after him for a week until I get out of hospital.”
If anyone could foster Milo for a week or so, they should email Tele editor Brian Hossack at bhossack@greenocktelegraph.co.uk
