A TALENTED group of Skelmorlie ladies organised a stitch-up to make children’s quilts for charity.
The class who meet in Skelmorlie Community Centre every week decided to put their creativity to good use.
They handed over 14 blankets to Action for Children, to be sent out to vulnerable youngsters.
Organiser Sheena Brown said: “We have been meeting for about six years. We have made so many quilts for our family, so we wanted to do something different.
“We heard about Action for Children and decided to make quilts for children they work with.
“We loved doing it and we are now looking for another project to support.”
The 11 ladies meet every Thursday in the Skelmorlie Community Centre at 7pm.
