A DANCING diva invited all her friends to hop on board her party bus for a ‘Kool Ride to Skool’.

St John’s Primary pupil Keava McMillan enjoyed her VIP school run after winning Radio Clyde’s popular competition.

Kind-hearted Keava included friends from her dancing school and some of her primary four classmates in her crew for her big day.

When the Bonkers Boogie Bus pulled up outside the school they were greeted to a fantastic fanfare and even had a ‘shout out’ on the radio from DJ George Bowie.

Mum Marjorie, 42, of Inverkip Road, Greenock said: “Keava said it was absolutely amazing.

“She is not shy at all and is really outgoing so she loved all the attention.

“She loved every minute of it.

“As they came off the bus one of her wee friends shouted ‘We’re famous’. It was a brilliant day and Amber from Radio Clyde was amazing.

“I listened to their shout out on the radio and they were all screaming and shouting.”

Keava’s crew included some of her friends from her dancing school Dancemania and DM Diamondz.

They left from her dancing teacher Ann Marie Campbell’s house and she gave them a big send off to remember.

Marjorie added: “Keava loves dancing and Ann Marie’s granddaughter Eva Campbell was one of the girls going. They had a lovely reception before they left.”

Keava’s three-year-old cousin Ella Harley even managed to jump on board for the party.

Eight-year-old Keava won the Kool Ride to Skool competition after getting laughs from DJ George when she told a joke on air during his show.
