LARKFIELD Housing Association celebrated its 20th anniversary as a landlord in the area.

The open day was a chance for staff, committee members to get together with tenants to celebrate the milestone.

There was also a raffle, bingo, live music and speeches followed by some lunch. 

Resident Caroline Devlin said: “I thoroughly enjoyed the day. There were great stalls to visit and brilliant prizes to be won at the charity raffle. 

"I’m looking forward to the next one.”

The raffle raised £261 for Motor Neurone Disease Scotland.
Local organisations including Heat Energy Scotland, Future Skills Project, Your Voice and Financial Fitness Services attended, providing information about the range of services Larkfield has to offer its residents.

Ward Councillor Ciano Rebecchi said: “It has been my pleasure to be associated with Larkfield Housing during the last 20 years and to see the association go from strength to strength.

“It is still working to make living conditions better for everyone in the Larkfield area and I wish them every success in the future.”

Lynne Griffin, association manager said: “We are delighted to be celebrating our 20th anniversary as a landlord with our tenants and community stakeholders. 

“This is the first of a number of community events to be held throughout the year to mark this important milestone for Larkfield.

“Looking forward we will continue to work with our tenants and community partners to provide homes and services that customers want and that meet the needs of the local community.”
