A HUGE Danish warship sailed up the River Clyde on Friday as part of a biannual international training exercise.
HDMS Absalon (L16), pictured, arrived just off Greenock on Friday ahead of the start of Operation Joint Warrior on Sunday.
It is one of the largest NATO training exercises in Europe and will run until April 6.
Joint Warrior takes place at spring and autumn every year.
Vessels from across Europe have been arriving over the last couple of days and Friday the Danish flagship HDMS Absalon (L16) sailed up the Clyde.
Along with sister ship Esbern Snare (L17), they are the two biggest ships ever to serve in the Royal Danish Navy.
Crew were spotted by our snapper George Munro cleaning a gun, with one seaman seen admiring the views across the Clyde towards Inverclyde.
