A GREENOCK couple have won their fight to keep the cream and sage colour scheme of their home in Greenock's west end.
Inverclyde Council beaks last year refused Simon Leslie-Carter and his wife Judy permission for the paint job after it had been carried out on the back of their flatted villa in Madeira Street.
They said the colour scheme was inappropriate and not in keeping with the west end conservation area.
But Mr Leslie-Carter, who is retired, and his wife, who works as a complimentary therapist, decided to appeal.
Their case came before the Local Review Body this afternoon and councillrs decided to overturn the refusal.
They had earlier continued the case last month, so that they could carry out a visit to see the property.
