A FUNDRAISER from Greenock is taking steps to help charity.
David Goldthorp, a local adviser for Parkinson’s UK, completed the organisation’s fifth annual ‘Walk for Parkinson’s’ at Pollok Country Park in Glasgow earlier this month.
He was joined by his dog Max.
David says he was inspired to take part because of the people with the incurable degenerative disease which he meets in his role as an adviser.
He said: “Since joining Parkinson’s UK last year I’ve come to appreciate the good work that our charity does in supporting people living with Parkinson’s.
“Our local branches provide much needed mutual support and a range of activities for people with Parkinson’s, their families and carers.”
