A 13-YEAR-OLD boy is in a hospital today after being struck by a car as he cycled in Greenock's Nicol Street.
The youngster was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow, where his condition is described as 'stable'.
It is understood he was knocked off his bike as a result of the impact with the car, which then collided with parked vehicles.
The road was closed for several hours following the incident, which occurred shortly before 8pm last night.
Greenock police are today asking anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them on the 101 number.
