DETECTIVES are today investigating a string of serious incidents which have resulted in people suffering injuries.
A man sustained what has been described as a puncture wound to one of his legs and a cut eye during a street fight with a pyjama-wearing woman and another male in Roxburgh Way in Greenock.
The woman sustained a hand injury in the incident which occured at around 6.50am on Friday morning.
One of the men is described as wearing a dark blue hoodie and blue tracksuit bottoms. The other man is said to have of slim build with light blond short hair. He was wearing a navy-coloured tracksuit.
The woman was wearing multi-coloured pyjamas.
In another incident at an address in Trafalgar Street between 6.45am and 7am on Friday, a man was injured after the windows in a property were smashed.
Two men were seen to make off in a small green or blue-coloured car.
Elsewhere in Greenock arrests have been made following assaults at a property in Mill Street and also in Inverkip Street.
