A WOMAN has been charged with attempted robbery following an alleged incident at a flat in Greenock last night.
The 37-year-old is also accused of assault and theft within the property in the town's West Blackhall Street.
Police were called to an incident at around 9.30pm.
Detective Inspector David Wagstaff, of Greenock CID, said that the woman is to appear in court today in relation to allegations of theft and assault with intent to rob.
No-one was injured in the alleged incident.
