NEWARK Primary turned pupils into superstars for their end of year finale.
The Tele was given the chance to see behind the scenes as they put the finishing touches to their 2017 show The Amazing Adventures of Super Stan.
Then family and friends packed into the school hall over two days to see the whole saga of Stanley Marvel and his nemesis Candy King played out on stage.
Class teacher Claire Scott, who directed the show with the support of Laura Jackson, said: “It is a wonderful show.
“It has been an absolute privilege to work with the pupils.
“They have worked so hard from start to finish.
“There are a lot of talented children in Newark Primary and I hope they continue with their drama.
“It has been amazing to watch their confidence grow and for them to realise just how capable they are.
“They have been so good at helping one another.”
All the primary five, six and sevens were involved in the show.
Hero Stanley was played by Connor Brown, even though he had to miss the final rehearsals because he was taking part in a football tournament at Cappielow.
The Candy King was played by Noah Cullen and the pair led a top class cast.
