A MAN has died after falling from a block of flats in Greenock in the early hours of this morning.
The 56-year-old was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital following the incident in Lynedoch Street at around 12.45am but was pronounced dead a short time later.
His death is not believed to be suspicious but investigations are ongoing.
Sergeant Laura Stewart, of Greenock police, said: "A post-mortem will be carried out in due course to establish cause of death and police are treating this as unexplained at this time."
A police car is still stationed at the scene this morning.
