TRAFFIC is continuing to be delayed around central Greenock because of the closure of part of Inverkip Road.
It is shut between the crematorium roundabout and the junction of Bow Road/Rankin Street because Scottish Water are repairing a collapsed sewer.
The closure started on July 3, and is due to last for five weeks.
Vehicles coming down Inverkip Road are being diverted along Brachelston Street, up Murdieston Street and along Wellington Street, where our pictures show traffic queueing to get into Duncan Street past the health centre and then on to Roxburgh Street.
