TWO men are due in court today in connection with an alleged street brawl in Greenock town centre.
A 46-year-old and another aged 37 have both been charged with possession of offensive weapons and threatening and abusive behaviour.
They were held by police in connection with a mass disturbance involving a number of men and women on Wednesday at 5.20pm.
A fight is said to have started in the car park of B&M and spilled out to surrounding areas, including Sir Michael Street, and led to a man aged 46 allegedly being stabbed.
Police are treating it as a serious assault and enquiries are continuing.
