MORTON legend Allan McGraw has been inducted into the Scottish Football Hall of Fame.

'Mr Morton' was announced as one of the 2017 inductees during a gala ceremony at Hampden last night.

The 78-year-old was a prolific goalscorer with Ton as a striker in the 1960s and then went on to manage the club in the 80s and 90s.

His goalscoring exploits on the field will never be forgotten by fans and off it he also fashioned one of the most stylish Morton teams in recent memory in the mid-90s.

McGraw joins ex-Ton stars Joe Jordan, Billy Steel, Jimmy Cowan, Bobby Evans, and Stevie Chalmers in the list of greats recognised for their contribution to the Scottish game.

Another ex-Ton player, John Clark, was also inducted at last night's gala.

Clark, best known for his time at Celtic, ended his career at Cappielow between 1971-973.
