POLICE say they have recovered drugs worth £50,000 during a raid in Port Glasgow.
The recovery was made last week but police have only just disclosed it.
They say that 8kg of cannabis was found during the operation.
Greenock police have refused to give any information about arrests in connection with the find.
They have not disclosed any details about where in Port Glasgow it was found, or what day.
When contacted by the Telegraph, officers simply said that the inquiry is 'ongoing'.
The substantial recovery is one of the largest in Inverclyde in recent years.
