A GREENOCK beauty therapist is fundraising in aid of Ardgowan Hospice.

Thoughtful Ana Inga is kindly donating £50 from each semi-permanent and permanent eye brow treatment to the hospice.

The 31-year-old, who operates in Stewart’s Hair and Beauty Salon, says she was inspired to help the hospice as sadly some of her clients have passed away after battling against cancer.

She said: “I have quite a few clients who have passed away from cancer so I wanted to do something to help and I came up with this idea.”

Ana says that through her job she has come across many women who have lost their eyebrows during cancer treatment.

Many of these women turn to Ana for help as she offers solutions for brow thinning such as microblading and permanent brows.

She added: “I have had a few ladies who have had cancer and have been through chemotherapy and they come in for microblading.

“A lot of women don’t expect to lose their eyebrows, they hope they will stay.”

To raise as much money as she can for the hospice, Ana has reduced the price of her microblading and permanent brow treatments from £250 to £199 and £50 from each session will be donated to the hospice.

Shaun Miller, who is an access nurse support specialist at Ardgowan Hospice, says the hospice is very grateful to Ana.

He said: “I’d like to thank Ana for using this beneficial service to her clients to raise money for us.

“We understand how important feeling good about how you look can lift someone’s mood and attitude to life.

“At Access at Ardgowan we provide a range of scarves for people dealing with hair loss.

“They are easy to put on and look fantastic.

“We are thrilled that Ana is also offering a great service and raising funds for us too.”

Ana is running the offer, which includes top ups, from today until December 31.

The vouchers will be valid for six months.
