TRAIN services were disrupted this morning after a lorry collided with a bridge.
The incident happened at a rail bridge in Cartsdyke just after 9am and services between Glasgow Central and Gourock were terminating and starting from Port Glasgow.
Scotrail said at 9.30am that engineers were in the process of inspecting the bridge.
Passengers can use tickets on McGills buses between Port Glasgow and Gourock.
The told the Tele at 10.10am that the line between Bogston and Cartsdyke had now reopened, with services slowly are returning to normal, although some may still be cancelled or revised.
Commuters are invited to check for updates on Scotrail's twitter feed before they travel.
