Greenock police released details of the raid
POLICE have seized a significant amount of drugs in a raid on a property in the centre of Greenock.
Officers swooped in Dempster Street and recovered 313g of cannabis, 278g of suspected amphetimine and 200 suspected diazepam tablets.
The operation was carried out on Wednesday but Police Scotland only released details of the discovery late this evening.
Two people have been arrested in connection with the find.
A man and a woman were held on drugs offences and they now face prosecution.
